I am here today with a liquid foundation review, the elf's studio Flawless finish foundation.
This is what it looks like:

Availability:
Elf studio flawless finish foundation is available on elf's website ( http://eyeslipsface.com ). In Canada, some elf products can be found at various Zellers and winners locations.
Shade / price:
Elf's studio flawless finish foundation comes in 6 different shades and retails for $6 (USD) per 0.8oz.
Features:
- Shade: Sand,
- Foundation: liquid,
- Size: 0.8oz,
- Pump bottle.
Aplication:
Efl's studio flawless finish foundation is very liquid (runny) and dries quickly which makes it very difficult to apply evenly.
I found that using a stipple brush is the best way to apply this foundation.
The lasting power of this foundation is very remarkable, it stays in place all day without the help of a primer. ( Althought I don't use it without a powder finish so maybe on it's own it won't last as long. ) The foundation felt heavy and left my skin feeling oily which is odd because my skin is more on the dry side.
Pros:
- Budget friendly,
- Pump bottle,
- Decent coverage,
- long lasting,
- SPF 15.
Cons:
- Not many shades to choose from,
- left my skin feeling oily,
- Hard to blend,
- felt heavy,
- strong smell,
- Swatches from elf's website are extremely OFF.
Overall review:
Overall , this is an OK foundation. This liquid foundation offers a decent coverage and comes with a pump. I dislike how hard it is to achieve an even look and it dries on blotchy. I picked out the wrong shade from e.l.f's website :( I decided to go with "sand" which is the second lightest shade to choose from. I don't have fair skin but my skin is light so I opted for the second lightest, turns out "sand" is way too dark for my skin tone, I should have choosen "porcelain" instead. :( The swatches on elf's website are always extremely Off, a swatch google search before I purchase is always a must.
I will not re-purchase this foundation, I didn't do anything good for my skin.
I give Elf's Studio flawless finish foundation 2,5 out of 5.
That is all for today,
Thanks for stopping,
