DIY project, HANDMADE flowers with twist paper ribbon

Here is a simple tutorial on how to make your own paper flowers.

What you will need:

- twist paper ribbon ( color of your choice ),

- 1 twist tie,

- supper glue,

- scissors.

Step 1: cut 5 pieces for the body of your flower. they don't have to be the same length. ( for reference, mine are about 4 inches )

Step 2: Un-twist your pieces. they should look like this.

Step 3: cut all of your pieces in haft vertically. Now you have 10 pieces, Cut your 10 pieces in haft ones more.

Step 4: now twist the end of every one of your "petals". They should look like this. ( refer to picture above )

Step 5: Gather all of your pieces together ( make sure you see the tip of every one of them ), now tie them together securely with a twist tie.

step 6: put aside your flower, time to work on the stem. cut out a piece of your green paper. the length is up to you. Take one end of your "stem" and un-twist it about one inch. ( look above for photo reference )

step 7: add the flower part to your stem. wrap it around the flower ( hide your twist tie with your stem ) and glue it in place.

.Step 8: your flower is ALMOST done, all there is left to do is play around with it and give it some shape and volume. (Here you see what the flower looks like before being played with.)
