homemade liquid handsoap

Here is a simple tutorial on How to make your own liquid handsoap.

For this project you will need the following:
- a measuring cup,
- 1 bar of soap,
- knife or a cheese grater,
- Empty soap dispenser,
- 1 cup of water,
- essential oil of your choice,
- sparkles and/or food coloring (optional)
- a big bowl that can endure boiling water.

******

Step 1: Grate your cheese.... Mmmm I mean soap. Your soap should look like this. (see below)
** Note I used two bars because mine were very small.
Step 2: Bring 1 cup of water to boil, meanwhile prepare the rest of your ingredients. I am using random sparkles and vanilla essential oil.
Step 3: Add the boiling water to your mixing bowl as well as all the other ingredients.
Step 4: ...... time to take a break.... Let it sit for about haft an hour. stir from time to time to minimize the "soap chunks".
Step 5: After time is up, try removing as much soap chunks as you possibly can from your mixture. You can throw them away or put them in a bowl separately or even a cookie cutter to make a bar of soap.

Step 6: FINAL STEP, fill up your soap dispenser with your new homemade liquid soap and VOILA!

Have fun. xx
