Today I am going to review a Face & Body luminizer from Hard Candy.
I don't have the full size product of this one... It was purchased in a - Mini must haves set called " First Flush".
The set contained:
- A mini Sheer envy face primer,
- A mini living doll baked blush,
- A mini Plumping Serum (no shade name or number),
- and a Mini Glow all the way.
At first I was thinking about doing a review on the whole set and talk about each items but I decided not to because two of the items were rated my "Products I regret buying - Summer edition".
I said everything I needed to say about the blush and primer...
Today's review : Hard Candy - Glow all the way "Doll face"
This is what the product looks like. ( note that this is a trial size.. the full size looks different..)
" Apply to face and body for a luminous *in the spotlight* effect. Infused with 24 Karat gold for a million dollar look " -Hard candy
Glow all the way comes in two different shades. "Doll face" is a pink based luminizer whereas "Glamazon Bronze" is a more golden based.
This product retails for $8 ( if I remember correctly ) and can be purchased at your local Walmart.
This face & Body luminizer comes in a handy dandy squeeze tube form.
If you are a regular reader here, you probably noticed that I am a big fan of squeeze tubes. :)
I can't really give my thoughts on the packaging since I dont own the "original" one. My mini comes in a squeeze tube just like the full size but other than that they are different.
I like to call this my Disco ball in a tube... It's that shimmery!
I like this product but I don't wear it often.. The reason being is that it's a little too "out there" for my everyday makeup.
It's a great luminizer and brings a very shimmery glow to the skin but I find it doesn't look at all natural and I only use it on those "night out" kind of events.
I am glad that I only got this in a trial size because a full size would probably go bad before I get the chance to use haft of it.
Here, I have for you two swatches..
The lasting power of this luminizer is decent... But water do wash it off easily.. (maybe not the best option for your "Dancing like a fool" kinda night)
Bottom line, this is a great product. I would recommend it to everyone.
My only advice is to use as little as possible, using too much will make you look like a disco ball.
Thanks for stopping by,
Kisses and fireworks,
