Mmmm Bubble Gum, Lush lip scrub * a reivew*

Hey lovelies,

I am here today with a lush review, I will review the bubble gum lip scrub.
I received a bunch of lush goodies for christmas and included was this beautiful lip scrub.
This lip scrub retails for $8,95 (CAD) for 25 g.

"Ro created the scrubs because she feels that people don't take enough care with their lips. These are perfect for scrubbing and moisturizing your lips before you put your lipstick on.

The bubblegum-candy scrub.

This one will make your lips smell like our best-selling Snow Fairy shower gel. Bubblegum is made with exfoliating castor sugar and our delicious vegan flavour to gently scrub away rough skin, keeping your lips smooth and kissably soft with the help of jojoba oil."

My first thought on the product is, Wow this stuff smells AMAZING!!!! If you love the scent of Snow fairy, you will most certainly enjoy the smell of this bubble gum lip scrubber, both product smells very similar.
I really love the concept or a "lip scrub" but this stuff is very awkward and messy to use.

The packaging is very cute, just a simple glass jar w/ the lush logo. I think what makes this product so appealing is the color of the scrub itself, that pink is eye catching.
You are probably wondering, does it really scrub??
Yes I find the "scrubbing" is great but lot needs to be use in order to give your lips a good scrub.

Like I said earlier, this product is very awkward to use, it doesn't stick to your lips.
My tip: apply lip balm before scrub or/ dab finger into water, this will make your experience less messy
This is a great scrubber, after using I notice smoother lips but it doesn't remove any flaky skin on my lips.

Overall this product is Ok. It smells amazing but in my opinion it is not worth the price.
Will I repurchase? no

  1. Great review. I was going to purchase over the holiday but they didn't have the bubblegum flavor left. I'm glad I waited. =)

  2. It looks great and sounds like it smells amazing. Lush products are expensive so it sucks when they don't work right.
