Tape manicure tutorial - Lumin-icecent & custom kicks

Hey lovelies

How is everyone doing this glorious Thursday?? Great I hope!
I am here today with a simple tape tutorial.   At the end of yesterday's post I asked you my lovely readers if you would be interested in a tutorial on how I create my manicure, I got some great feedback and lots of you said yes, so here it is. :)

Today, I will show you how to create this manicure using tape: ( note that the colors are different then yesterday but I REALLY wanted to try this manicure with a colorclub foiled polish, I hope that's ok )

For this mani you will need:
-2 nail polishes of your choice. ( for tape manicure I recommend a very opaque polish that requires one  coat )
-scissors.
-Tape \  I used a very thin tape ( about .1cm wide ) that can be purchased at BORNPRETTYSTORE
but you can always use masking tape or scotch tape and cut out thin stripes.

The first thing you will want to do is paint your nails whatever color you want your stripes to be.
I used: Color Club - lumin-icecent.

Wait til your nails are completely dry ( you can add a top coat like seche vite to speed up the process ) and add your tape. ( refer to the photos below )

Now that your tape is in place you can add your second color on top. ( Tip: Press down on the tape before applying polish over to make sure they are nicely in place )
I used: Custom kicks from China glaze.

Now that you painted your nail, wait about 30 seconds and remove your tape.

Add top coat to smooth out the lines and voila!!! Adorable manicure with the magic of tape. :)

Thanks for stopping by,
Kisses and fireworks,
Comme3pommes,
xx
