For the Bargain Lovers... Elf's Plumping Lip Glaze * A review *

Hey Lovely ladies,

Today I am going to review a product that I think you may like, especially you bargain lovers.
I will be sharing my thoughts with you about Elf's Plumping lip glaze.

From Elf's Website:

e.l.f. Essential Plumping Lip Glaze

Forget costly Collagen injections, or those painfully stinging glosses, stimulate your senses to a refreshed full perfect pout with e.l.f. Plumping Lip Glaze! e.l.f. proudly presents a revolutionary lip plumper, infusing natural ingredients that awaken your senses for fresh, volume enhanced, and moisturized lips. This dual sided Plumping Lip Glaze has a tinted color for a subtle plump or a clear gloss that power plumps your lips, use together and instantly feel the lip enlarging effects!

PRICE TAG:  Elf's Plumping lip glaze retails for only one dollar.
You do not get much product in the tube but your one dollar will go a long way.

PACKAGING: The packaging for this product is a big ZERO!!! I cannot leave this in my purse because it will unscrew itself and makes a mess...
For one dollar, I wasn't expecting this to come in a quality package but It would be nice if I could carry it around with me for touch ups.
The applicator on the other hand works great, I have no issue with it.

PRODUCT: For a dollar this gloss rocks my wold!. The Plumping effect is "alright", I see a bit of  a difference.
I love the tingly feeling when I apply this lip plumping.. ( it kind of tickles and feels very minty )
It leaves my lips feeling moisturized and looking great.
Big bang for your buck if you ask me!!

I purchased this lip Glaze in the shade "Babydoll"
It doesn't look anything like the photo on elf's website... I hate how the colors are always off..
Here is a couple of swatches for you:

The Good and the Bad:

The good:
- Affordable,
- Easy to use,
- Great color selection,
- Long lasting.

The BAD:
- Cheap packaging,
- Colors shades are way off on website,
- doesn't live up to it's claim.

Overall, I recommend this product. Great quality for the price!!
At one dollar each, you can purchase all shades available for a little over 10$, pretty neat eh?
Will I re-purchase?? Yeah!, maybe in a different shade but I would re-purchase this in a heart beat.

Well that's all for now,

Oh my GOSH!!! A very first for me :)

Hey Lovelies,

Tonight I want to review two products from the brand "GOSH". I never tried anything from GOSH until this past summer. The brand never really intrigued me, the products all look super fun but I was scared of the price tag... I never really heard much about GOSH and feared that I would maybe waste some money on not so good quality makeup.
Anyways, I came across a clearance selection at my local Shoppers and cave in, I bought my very first GOSH.

The first product I purchased was the duo eyeshadow in the color (Apple/lime).
This eyeshadow retails for $12.50, I got it on sale for $3... Pretty sweet eh??
Now I wont say I believe this product should sell for $12,50 but is worth wayyy more than the 3 dollars I paid

When I got home with this eyeshadow, I immediately check online if it was a discontinued product because it was so cheap, but to my surprise, it wasn't
. (not that it would have bothered me, but it was priced so low compared to the original price tag)
This is a decent eyeshadow but I wouldn't pay the full asking price for it.
Here is a swatch of both colors: (super pretty green hues with lots of shimmers)

I am glad I got this eyeshadow duo and use it quite often. :)
The colors are super fun and easy to blend.
The pigmentation is so-so, you may need a little more then usual to get it to show up this nicely (refer to photo above).
I haven't use it with a primer and it does last most of the day. (I will have to try it out with en eye primer, the color might pop a little more).

I tried taking a photo of me wearing this eyeshadow but the colors wouldn't really show up in pictures. :( I will give it another try sometimes in day light.

Bottom line, I would repurchase this ON SALE!!
The eyeshadow is alright but I wouldn't pay the full price... plus the packaging is super cute but cheaply made.

*****

Well now onto the next product... GOSH in stage cool lip jam.

The GOSH on stage Cool lip jam retails for $13 and that is what I paid for it.
I don't usually pay that much for a lip product... I often invest more money into, foundation, primers(....) anything that is related to the face and not the eyes or lips..
The shade of this Lip jam was calling out to me ... I thought it was the most gorgeous shade and needed to add this to my collection.

Now they call this a lip jam and I can't tell you why..
To me it feels the same as a regular (thick) lip gloss.
One thing I ADORE about this is the smell... this stuff smells super yummy!!
Here is a swatch for you:

Isn't it gorgeous???!!???
Such a beautiful shade but unfortunately it doesn't show on my red pigmented lips.. :(  Suchhh a shame..
I still wear this every other day because it gives a nice shine to my lips and smells super yummy.. (like a fruity lip balm)

Overall, This is a great lip jam and would re-purchase ... maybe in a darker shade this time. :)

Well that's it for this post,, onto the next one :)

My very first time - Annabelle cosmetics -

Hey lovelies,

A little while back as I was browsing the cosmetics aisle at my local Zellers, I spotted some ANNABELLE cosmetics on sale. I never tried anything from Annabelle before but heard great feedback about them. The display was haft empty so I only got two things, a gloss and a face powder.

*****

Annabelle "LE GLOSS"
Retail: $8,25
I got the gloss in the shade " Missy Miss". I always find myself going for the "peachy light colors" when it comes to glosses. Like every other light color gloss, the color doesn't show up on my lips.
it's a shame because the color is beautiful!!! (here's a swatch)
It is a very sticky lip gloss but it actually feels good on my lips. It has the "gloss" smell which sucks in my opinion because I LOVE fruity smelling gloss.
I was expecting this to be a "squeeze type" of gloss because it comes in a tube form but it actually comes with a wand applicator, how awesome?
Overall this is a great gloss, I would recommend it in a heart beat.

*****

Annabelle " BUBBLE FACE POWDER"
Retail: $12,49
Now this "bubble" face powder I LOVE!!! I am a blush maniac and most of my makeup collection consists of blushes. The fun thing with this powder is that you can use it both as a face illuminator and a blush. It comes with a bunch of different shades so you can mix them up to your preference.
For someone who doesn't own many blushes but would LOVE the options of different shades from time to time this is a great buy.
Here are some swatches for you:
Overall, I love this Face powder and use it often. I would recommend it to everyone and hopefully this comes in other shades for me to buy. :P

Happy Wednesday,
